Rapid Response in Border Villages

Through the Rapid Response in Border Villages initiative, three Syunik communities — Vaghatur, Khoznavar, and Khnatsakh — now each have two trained local first responders on call, ready to act when every second counts. These dedicated volunteers, equipped with first aid kits and supported by a standby training ambulance, have spent years building their skills through VAL’s programs. Now, they are applying that training directly within their own communities — bringing help, hope, and safety closer to home.
