Mountains are Not for the Weak!

The “Hayq” program, developed by a dedicated team of young Armenians, is designed to prepare the next generation to survive and thrive in extreme conditions. This three-month program aims to contribute to the establishment of the “Comprehensive Protection and Security System” (Vogezen) by fostering a culture of hiking, familiarizing participants with Armenia’s native terrain and nature, and imparting essential skills for safe navigation and movement.

Participants will engage in various sub-courses, including:

• Modern Expeditionary Operations Management and Situational Awareness Systems
• Cartography, Topography, and Area Orientation
• UAV Course
• First Aid in Emergency Situations
• Sign Language
• Technical Equipment (Types and Application)
• Communication
• Basics of Digital Security
• Physical Training

Held in Yerevan three times a week, the program also includes three hikes that allow participants to apply their acquired knowledge in real-world scenarios. This hands-on approach ensures they are well-prepared for any challenges they may face.

Through this project, we are sponsoring RealSchool students’ participation in the “Hayq” educational program, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed for comprehensive protection and security in Armenia.
