Some positive results have been achieved for this project that was initiated by ISRC (Instigate Scientific Research Center). The purpose of this project was to provide safe intercommunications between Armath laboratories throughout Armenia without using the commercial internet.
RealSchool, in cooperation with ISRC, developed mesh network software named Metax. Armath engineering laboratories are currently equipped with sufficient computational devices, and the students have acquired the knowledge to implement a mesh network and run all their communication and document sharing on the platform they built themselves. The system has already been deployed in almost all of the Armath laboratories, and the instructors’ emails are hosted on this system.
This project marks a significant advancement in secure communication technology within the educational sector, ensuring that students and educators can safely and efficiently collaborate and share information without relying on commercial internet services.
