Hundreds have been killed and wounded, including civilians. On October 2 the last bus from Artsakh left Stepanakert, completing a tragic forced weeklong exodus of over 100,000 Armenians, leaving behind the city which became a ghost…
Once again Armenian people faced a big tragedy which we hoped would never happen. During the blockade, that hope pushed many people in Armenia to do everything to alleviate the plight of our Artsakh brothers and sisters. Within the framework of the Road of Life project SYUN supported the initiative of a group of our compatriots who did not miss any opportunity to deliver the necessary help to the people of Artsakh. For this project we collaborated with our very special partner Diana Grigoryan at Armenian charity organization Ghoghanj.
Since January of this year a large quantity of vegetable seeds, 3 motoblocks and sowing equipment that were sent to Artsakh and distributed to the residents of several villages, including Karmir Shuka and Taghavard, provided 60% of the vegetables, that our struggling people could put on their table during these difficult days.
Many boxes of baby food and medicine have been sent and The Artsakh Social Development Programs Fund distributed these items to the families in need. Every box that reached Artsakh contained not only help, but also hope. for a normal life.
